Renee Mallett of Amaranth & Rue Handmade Soaps will be at the Craft Festival at Fruitlands. This looks like a fun even t to kick off your Holiday Shopping! PS. I am a HUGE FAN of Renee’s soap! It’s a perfect little indulgence!
Heather Wang Jewelry will be at the Rhinebeck Arts Festival at the County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck. NY Friday, September 26 from 10am to 5pm / Saturday, September 27 from 10 am to 6 pm / Sunday, September 28 from 10 am to 5 pm Rain or Shine!! Her new work is just gorgeous!

Priscilla Levesque is participating in a group show, “Seeing the Light-Plein Air Landscapes from Painters on Cape Cod” at Cataumet Arts Center, 76 Scraggy Neck Rd., Cataumet MA. The show is on view through October 13th with an Artist Reception this Sunday September 21st from 3-5pm
Congratulations to WAS artists Cheryl Polcaro, Bethany Peck, Tom Veirs, and Janet Wolahan for their acceptance into the 15th Annual Francis N. Roddy Open Competition, a prestigious competition held by the Concord Art Association. Check out the 100 pieces that were chosen for this exhibition now through October 17.
If you are in Boston, stop by Quincy Market to see What is Your Vision?, a show by the National Association of Women Artists, Inc. (MA Chapter). See work by WAS painter Ilene Richard! This show is located at 1 South Market Building, 4th Floor, and runs through October 23.
Now through September 30: PETRICHOR: A Doctor Who Themed Show at the Salem Ink Gallery. Check out work by Mary Dumas. The gallery is located at 201 Derby Street in Salem.
Next door in Chelmsford, stop by the McCarthy Room at the Chelmsford Public Library to see Photographs by Rebecca Killeen-Brown. This show runs through September 30 and can be viewed during library hours.
Great work can also be seen at the Billerica Library through October 2! Stop by the reference room to see “On the Water”, an exhibition featuring work by WAS artist Robert Crooker. The exhibition is open during library hours – visit their website for details.
WAS artist Cheryl Polcaro is also showing work at the 70th Fall Salon at the Cambridge Art Association. The exhibition is at the University Place Gallery and the Kathryn Schultz Gallery, and is on view through September 26. Cheryl is doing some unique mixed media work these days, so if you haven’t seen her work in a while, you should go see it!

Final weeks! Steampunk Springfield: Re-imagining an Industrial City is on view in Springfield, MA. See etchings by Markus Haala at the Springfield Museum of Art as well as at the Springfield Museum of History. Check the website for hours and directions. Runs through September 28th!
