About This Artist

Artist Name: Amy Lopez

Amy is a graduate of the Fine Arts Program at Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. She received her teaching certification from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. Amy worked as a Public school art teacher for 13 years. She resigned to become her son’s full time caregiver after he was diagnosed with a life threatening epilepsy disorder. In the fall of 2018 she opened her studio at WAS and it has been the best therapy for her. Here she can create and free her mind from the daily stress she faces at home.
