My name is Susan Drennan and I live and work north of Boston. Having painted for forty years, I am currently completing a BFA with a concentration in painting at Montserrat College of Art. My work is large in scale, typically 4 x 5 feet. Loving many mediums, including sculpture, I mainly paint in oil. My aim is to depict the beauty of the world through landscapes, portraits, and close-up paintings of nature. Inspired by these, I paint them in realism or impressionism. I have won a first place in professional watercolor and have won two awards for a portrait.
