DESCRIPTION:A UMASS Lowell professor and a resident artist at Western Avenue Lofts\, INGRID HESS is a published author/illustrator and graphic designer whose work is influenced both by her Amish/Mennonite heritage and her four years of childhood in Costa Rica. \nHer research focuses on economic justice as a way to bring peace to the world and empower kids to understand that they can make a difference.
