DESCRIPTION:Come blow your own pint glass with Mill City Glass Works on the first floor here at Western Avenue. \nEach glass take 20 to 30 minutes\, please show up 40 min before your time slot and watch and learn. Once your pint is completed it will have to cool down over night. \nCome back the next day and enjoy a cold beer in your personalized pint by walking next door to Navigation Brewery located. \n  \nSpace is limited but we host this class on an ongoing basis. DESCRIPTION:John Francis Designs offers this intermediate class\, going more in-depth to the design and carving process than the Intro class. Students will be able to select a piece of wood and draw a spoon of their own design. The blanks will be cut on a bandsaw\, then carved and finished using gouges\, drawknives\, spokeshaves\, and carving knives. Tool sharpening and maintenance will be discussed\, as well as recommended wood types and local suppliers. \nBeginners are welcome! \n18+ only please.

Pretty cool. \nSaturday features the Loading Dock Gallery’s show reception from 4-6pm.  This is the New England Juried Poetry Convergence called “Repetition\, Replication\, Variation” and will feature a poetry slam on the A Mill Loading Dock. DESCRIPTION:Come blow your own pint glass with Mill City Glass Works on the first floor here at Western Avenue. \nEach glass take 20 to 30 minutes\, please show up 40 min before your time slot and watch and learn. Once your pint is completed it will have to cool down over night. \nCome back the next day and enjoy a cold beer in your personalized pint by walking next door to Navigation Brewery located. \n  \nSpace is limited but we host this class on an ongoing basis. DESCRIPTION:In order to serve her local customers\, Ali Manning of Vintage Page Designs is offering Drop-In Open Studio time once a month in the afternoons. It will give you the opportunity to hang out with fellow book lovers and work on a project. You will be able to get ideas\, have questions answered\, browse my collection of bookbinding books\, use my paper cutter\, pick up paper or just come for a visit. \nThe open studio is free of charge and while there will be no formal instruction given – there will be plenty of learning going on.
