DESCRIPTION:In a 2018 interview in BostonVoyager magazine\, AMY ARCHAMBAULT offered this advice to aspiring artists “Authenticity\, Persistence and Balance… Being an artist is being disciplined to make every effort to let that part of you shine. To be curious\, to engage\, to research\, to put yourself out there\, and to simply DO WORK.” \nShe has followed her own advice of actively “doing work” since 2011 after receiving her MFA from the University of Pennsylvania. Archambault’s work expands elements of collage into three-dimensional forms; creating hybrids of functional human-scale objects with inventive geometric abstractions and large interactive structures.
