John Greenwald, 1942 - 2010
John Greenwald was a painter, a writer, a critic, a social commentator and most importantly a friend. A little before 6pm on July 8, 2010 word came that John had left us. From the beginning he was a staunch supporter of the Western Avenue community and his laughter would echo through the 5th floor hallways as we settled in to this new environment. John was always there, with commentary, with support and with just the right words to get a group motivated. We shall miss him terribly. |
