Live and Work

Western Avenue Lofts

Live comfortably, work inspired.

Many of Western Avenue’s original Studio artists became our first live/work Loft residents, and had instrumental roles in determining how the lofts came together. Each of the 50 lofts is designed around simplicity, practicality, and the freedom to create. The Lofts community is a special place, providing a home amongst fellow creatives.

If you are a working artist with three years of documented artistic production, we would be happy to talk to you about living at the Lofts! Call 978-710-8605.

Features of the Lofts:

  • Walking distance to Lowell commuter rail line.
  • Off street parking.
  • Two common area wash sinks per floor.
  • One common laundry on the first floor.
  • Community garden.
  • Pet friendly.

Western Avenue Studios

Our mission is to create a permanently affordable home for artists.

We started in October of 2005 with 33 studios mixed with commercial tenants. Since 2012 we have been 100% art studios and artisanal business – we are bursting at the seams with creativity. Studios range from $175 to $800/month, which includes heat, basic electric, trash, parking, and common wifi.

The campus has a Building Manager on site Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm and can provide a tour of available studios and discuss your needs. Please fill out the Inquiry Form and we’ll get back to you promptly. Call 978-710-8605 and we’ll answer any questions you may have.
