The Presidential Election of 2024 and the re-election of Donald Trump has caused many highly charged emotional reactions for our artists at Western Avenue Studios and Lofts. While some celebrated change, a great many felt despair and fear for the future. What would this mean for our rights, our freedoms, our legal protections and the safety of others in our divided country? The historic answers remain to be seen, but our response is now. Our power as artists is to create and to share our ideas, emotions and stories. We have come together to share these with you and bear witness to this powerful moment. We hope you enjoy our exhibit.
This show reflects how artists of Western Avenue react to the results of the 2024 election. and the many ways it will affect our future.
