Have you heard? Indoor events are back!

Better than before!

Last month marked the return of indoor events for us. We went into it with some uncertainty but, it was like riding a bike, something you never truly forget how to do. It was great seeing familiar faces and hearing your voices echo through our building once again. It was also nice welcoming new faces to our community, and we look forward to these new lasting relationships.

Last month was our best July event ever; we hope you visit us in August and see for yourself why Western Avenue is the place to be every first Saturday of the month. The Studios building is open, but at this time the Lofts are still closed to the public.

About Face

Energetic lines and brilliant colors electrify at the Loading Dock Gallery this August. Stephen Beccia and Richard Cross present About Face, a show of contemporary figurative art. Their work explores the human figure and the nature of portraiture. Inspired by Cubism and Pop, About Face experiments with new visual rhythms for the 21st century.

About Face runs August 4-29, 2021. Meet the artists during our event, 3-5 pm. The Loading Dock Gallery is also open Wednesday – Saturday 12-5:30 pm, and Sunday 12-4 pm.

Mira Ve joins our August lineup of art you can taste!

This month we welcome a new food truck to Western Avenue, Mira Ve. A new Lowell-based food truck that just launched this month. Serving up a variety of Colombian street food and other delicious sweet treats that will transport you to Colombia itself.

Start your day with Tiny Arms Coffee, open from 9 am till 5 pm. Serving up coffee and other drinks, with ethically sourced coffee beans that they roast right here at Western Avenue. Then end your day with Lowell’s best brewery, Navigation Brewing Company. A family brewery that loves what they do and take pride in their handcrafted brews.
