There are toys that behave.
And there are toys that refuse instruction. We want the latter. Misfit Toys, Misfit Joys is a group exhibition celebrating interactive, playful, weird, uncanny, handmade, mechanical, magical, and delightfully dysfunctional art objects. We are seeking works that invite touch, participation, performance, curiosity, and childlike mischief.

Think: Puppets with motives, Action figures for couch potatoes, Pop-up books from alternate dimensions, Paint-by-number kits gone feral, Wearable creatures comforts, Stuffies that defy logic, Games that can’t be won.
