Opening Sat Aug 2, 2025. Visit during Open Studios from August to October. Dina Mordeno’s painting series, Nap Time, utilizes the natural wood grain as a skin tone for the figures, leaving the drawing exposed to direct the focus to the figure in each piece. The bare wood mirrors the vulnerability of the napping person. As a current resident of the Western Avenue Lofts Dina works primarily as a painter creating interpretive landscapes and figurative works.
More of her work can be seen at the Loading Dock Gallery in the studios building and TAG in SOWA arts & Design district in Boston.
Storage Closet Gallery is located on the 2nd Floor of Western Avenue Lofts building.
