REAMKER
This images capture a moment from Reamker, the Cambodian adaptation of the Ramayana, one of Asia’s most enduring epic poems. Originating in ancient India, the Ramayana tells the story of Prince Rama’s quest to rescue his wife Sita from the demon king Ravana. More than a tale of good versus evil, it explores themes of love, honor, sacrifice, and divine duty. In Cambodia, the story is retold through Reamker, where myth and morality come to life through dance and gesture—preserving centuries of cultural memory.
Come & enjoy this exhibit April 26th through June 8th. Available to see any day of the week 9AM – 5PM.
