Four days of Holiday Open Studios: December 7, 8, 14 and 15

One Stop for all your Handmade Holiday Shopping

The artists of Western Avenue Studios & Lofts offer their best wishes for the holiday season and hope you take time to come over and shop over 100 artists in one location! The artists have been working hard in their studios for weeks to make sure they have wonderful gifts to offer you during four days of Holiday Open Studios. For the first two weekends of December, on both Saturday and Sunday, we will be open for shopping, chatting with artists, and getting to know why Western Avenue is the creative soul of Lowell.

There is so much joy in finding the perfect gift in person while getting to know the artist that made it. What do we have? Scarves, shawls, hats from our fiber artists. Mugs, bowls, platters and figurines from our ceramic artists. Bowls, boards and spoons from our wood carvers. Portraits, black and white images, compelling images from the photographers.  Leather goods, bags, t-shirts, dresses and gowns from the textile artists.  Silver, glass, turquoise, rhinestone and enamel from the jewelers. Journals, notebooks and embossed stationary from the paper artists. Encaustic, oil, watercolor and acrylic from the painters. Collage, 3D, coasters, papier mache from the mixed media artists.  Sculpture in glass, metal, clay and stone. And beer from the brewery.

The Loading Dock Gallery’s members are hosting their Winter Lights show. They have filled their space with gorgeous art, gifts, jewelry, ceramics, wood wares, photographs, and even holiday cards! Gift wrap available too.

The Gallery has expanded hours for the month of December.  They’ll be open December 1st through December 24th from 10am until 6pm. The week after Christmas they are open December 27-30th 10am – 6pm and on December 31st 10am – 2pm. You can shop online as well on their website.
