Its been a while. We missed you.
Its been a while since we’ve seen your beautiful faces or have heard your voices fill our halls. Our last in-person event was our March Open Studios. It’s been an unprecedented year for everyone, finding new ways to stay connected and adapt to our current situation. For the past couple of months, we’ve hosted our monthly Open Studios virtually thanks to the power of social media. We hope you’ve been following along and enjoying keeping up with our artists. Your support is what allows us to do what we do and continue creating art. We are so grateful.
Trying something new.
Instead of hosting our monthly Open Studios virtually in July, we are trying something new. July will feature an outdoor art market that celebrates both art and summer, while allowing us to implement Covid-19 safety measures. This outdoor market will be a smaller event than our usual Open Studios and will take place on Saturday July 11th, instead of our usual first Saturday of the month. We’re excited to bring you this new type of event and enjoy the summer weather at the same time. We are anticipating this Outdoor Art Market will consist of 40+ vendors from our artist community, spread across our Lofts west parking lot.
Loading Dock Gallery grand reopening, and art you can taste.
It wouldn’t be a Western Avenue event without some of the signature things that make Open Studios great. The Loading Dock Gallery we’ll be hosting their grand reopening at the same time as our Art Market, Afterwards Navigation Brewing Company opens and will have some of their made in Lowell crafted brews on tap, and we will have a food truck on site. You get to relax under their new outdoor tent in the shade! We will make an announcement once we finalize the food option for the day, so stay tuned!
Covid-19 guidelines
In order to bring you a fun and safe in-person event, we have instituted some safety rules for our first-ever Outdoor Art Market. Safety is our number one concern, we hope you understand, we can’t wait to see you!
– Guests who are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms or have been instructed to quarantine by a medical professional should not attend.
– All guests must wear a mask or face covering at all times.
– Please maintain a six-foot distance from others.
– We will have hand sanitation stations throughout the market space.
– There will be no public restrooms during this event.
There is no charge for this event. At this time we do request that you leave your pooch at home.
