Artist Name: Anne Plaisance

After receiving her master’s degree at the Sorbonne in Paris and a harp diploma from the Music Conservatory, Anne Plaisance moved to Poland where she worked in advertisement for almost 20 years. She decided to change her path in 2009 to focus on art.

Today, she’s an Award-winning painter who took part in more than 100 exhibitions worldwide. in 2020, a Silver Medal was awarded to her for her artwork, from Arts-Sciences-Lettres (with prestigious recipients such as Jules Romain, Colette, Albert Schweitzer, Paul Claudel, Fabrice Lucchini, Lord Yehudi Menuhin, Cousteau commander, etc.). She received numerous awards, as well as grants from the Cambridge Arts Council and the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and took part in artist residencies (US, Japan, etc.).

She was featured in the Boston Globe, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle Decoration, Artscope, on television and radio. Her creative work focuses on women empowerment and can be found in private collections (London, Milan, Paris, Warsaw, Dubai, Kyoto, Boston, etc..). She creates now at Western Avenue Studios in Lowell, the largest art community in Massachusetts.
