Artist Name: Arlene Hammel

A little bit about me. My creative interests started early and continued to be reflected throughout my career. Now, I’m pursuing my passion for painting full time and draw ongoing inspiration from being part of the vibrant artist community at Western Avenue Studios.

My representational and abstract paintings are created with dynamic brushwork that delivers an energetic visual experience. Using both bold and subtle color palettes, my art explores the world around us to bring that excitement in to all the special places where we live and work.

I really enjoy meeting visitors during Open Studios, hearing about them and learning how my artwork speaks to their interests. It’s a special adventure for people to explore Western Avenue and it’s great being part of their journey!
