Artist Name: Carol Rissman

Ceramic art for the wall and table

Pattern and textures in nature are the inspiration for many of my ceramic wall pieces and necklaces. And an appealing line or combination of colors can send me down a road. My pleasure is in taking the risk; combining inspiration and the material properties of clay.

A former Resident Artist at Harvard University’s Ceramics Program, my work is shown at venues including the Fuller Craft Museum and Lacoste Gallery, as well as in my gallery at Western Avenue Studios.
