MASARAT Studios features an exposition of past custom works on one wall and a mish mash of various individual projects tackled on the second wall. The studio is both filled with color and whimsy but also starting to be filled with the monochromatic faces of pets and people loved by those who have asked for them to be recreated.

Opened originally as a “watercolor and acrylic painting” studio, you’ll now find graphite and colored pencil pieces adorning the walls. I particularly thrive off recommendations from the people who come in to drive me to challenge myself again and again for the next piece, the next series, the next study or.. the next piece of commission work I am lucky enough to work on for those folks that trust me with their loved ones, pets or places.

A Message From Tara:

I’ve been creative most of my life. I still have my “portfolio” from high school. But my art went latent for years until it was reborn into the light as a creative, contemplative, focused way to pull me from the stress and anxiety of my professional work. And now… I’m hooked. I enjoy a challenge and I would love to hear yours. I love recreating pets and during 2020 (with my extra “free” time suddenly) I tackled reviving my graphite skills and also started studies in colored pencil but if it’s detail oriented… you will have my attention in but a moment. So please, challenge me! Bring your ideas, your wants, your needs, or your precious memories and let’s give them another life for you through my work. I look forward to interacting with our community and sharing my art with all of you.
