An Open Studios experience like no other!

This month our monthly Open Studios looks a bit different than usual, and there’s an excellent reason for that. In November, we are going all out to bring you the art experience. Artists truly love sharing their passion for their work and look forward to chatting with visitors and answering questions. Western Avenue is comprise of the Studios – two buildings, with five floors of work, and the Lofts – two floors of live-work residences. The Lofts building will be open to the public for the first time since March 2020. Masks are mandatory in the Lofts and will be monitored. More artists will be open than normal as art takes the main stage in this special two-day Open Studios event.
Together Is Our Favorite Holiday
This November, join the Loading Dock Gallery to celebrate the truth that Together is our Favorite Holiday. Art brightens the home and this show embraces the comfort of ritual, the warmth of love. Come light the way through this dark season. Together is our Favorite Holiday features paintings, woodworking, pottery, jewelry, and woven wonders. On the walls, find artwork inspired by love of life: still-life arrangements, bouquets of flowers, ocean views. For a house-warming gift, consider a hand-thrown vase or serving bowl. A colorful cat mug makes a whimsical start to a cold morning. For hand-made elegance, add a hand-crafted wooden charcuterie board or serene handwoven placemats.
Together is our Favorite Holiday runs November 5-28, 2021 at Loading Dock Gallery with a gallery reception during our Open Studios, starting at 3pm.
Plantiful, something new for your tastebuds.
SaturdayPlantiful Food Trailer, a new plant-based food truck, makes its Open Studios debut. They strive to use whole food ingredients in all of their dishes, focusing on fresh vegetables, beans, whole wheat grains, and spices to add a delicious and wholesome flavor! Then on Sunday, Lou’s Deli, from Appleton Street, will be on site with their flavor packed deli sandwiches.
Tiny Arms Coffee has a new roaster and a new drink of the month joining their already flavorful menu. Navigation Brewing Company’s fall favorites are back, rich stouts and porters. Tiny Arms Coffee kicks off the day at 9 am and Navigation Brewing Company ends the day with their 4-10 pm hours.
We have plenty of free parking and a shuttle bus to a nearby off site lot for overflow parking.
Covid-19 and Event Guidelines
In order to bring you a fun and safe in-person event, we have instituted some safety rules for our events. Safety is our number one concern, and we hope you understand. We can’t wait to see you!
– Guests who are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms or have been instructed to quarantine by a medical professional should not attend.
– Mask or face coverings are not required but recommended as some studios, and the restrooms, require them. Masks are mandatory to visit the Lofts.
– Please maintain a six-foot distance from others.
– We will have hand sanitation stations at the main entry / exits.
There is no charge for this event. Well behaved and leashed dogs are allowed.
