Hello Fall, is that you?

Fall in love with new art!

Over the summer, we brought back indoor events, and it’s been a blast. We’ve enjoyed hearing your curious voices fill our halls with amazement and wonder. With summer coming to a close, many of our artists are returning from summer ventures filled with inspiration and we can’t wait to see what they have been working on.

Things might look a little different as you explore this month. New wayfinding signage has been installed on all five floors of the Studios, new artists have joined our community, and some of your favorite artists may have moved to different studios. So this fall, come get lost at the Creative Soul of Lowell and fall in love with new art!

Rare Earth

A collaboration between artist and Mother Nature.

This September The Loading Dock Gallery is gathering the talents of six artists who create art through one of the greatest collaborations, that of the artist and Mother Nature. The artists of Rare Earth interpret the world’s beauty through their individual media, some crafting their art via the use of natural materials found in nature. Rare Earth will truly showcase the beauty of this wonderful planet. Rare Earth runs September 1 – 26, 2021. Meet Gillian Frazier and Bethany Peck and the additional participating artists at the reception from 3-5 pm. The Loading Dock Gallery is also open Wednesday – Saturday 12-5:30 pm, and Sunday 12-4 pm.

Covid-19 Guidelines:

  • Please bring a mask as individual studio artists or businesses may require you to wear one inside their space.
  • Guests who are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms or have been instructed to quarantine by a medical professional should not attend.
  • All unvaccinated guests must wear a mask or face covering at all times.
  • Please maintain a six-foot distance from others.
  • We will have hand sanitation stations throughout the building.
  • We request wearing a mask or face covering in our restrooms since they are an enclosed space that doesn’t allow for social distancing.
