On The Road with Western Avenue Artists This Fall

For the Rest of September…

Western Avenue Loft artist Amy Roberts is always out and about.  Her artwork can be seen in restaurants, coffee shops, libraries and art societys around New England.  This month you can see her paintings at Acoustic Java Roastery in Worcester as well as at the Tyngsboro Public Library.  Amy is open for most Open Studios events and is a pleasure to talk with about her second career as an artist, after her first career in the Army.

And on into October.

Gallery Twist in Lexington MA is hosting their new show, HUMDRUM, which features 200 works of art including some by WA artists Yildiz Grodowski in studio 428 and Michele Boll in Studio 407. The show runs from September 27th through October 20th with their opening reception on September 28th from 5-8pm.

Sometimes In Pairs.

Two WA artists combine their talent in a show called Political ISMS at ArtSpace Maynard.  From October 16th through November 22nd, Barb Fletcher in Studio 303 and May DeViney in Studio A401 will play off each others point of view. Join them for the opening reception October 19th from 5-7pm.

And a Little Farther Afield.

Photographer Mark Elson, from Studio A516, is heading off to New York City for the Clio Art Fair which runs October 10-13th.  Mark’s fine art photography is collector worthy and we hope he finds new buyers at the Clio. He is known for his Civil War style photos that are produced using the methods available at that time.
